October 30, 2017 – 2 Killed In Fatal Accident On Sagamu Abeokuta Expressway In Ogun State
Tragedy struck in Kobape area of Sagamu Abeokuta expressway yesterday afternoon when a fatal accident claimed the lives of two persons (a male and female).
A Toyota Jeep with registration # KJA 12 AV had a tyre bust while on top speed. It somersaulted severally before landing on the side of the road.
2 of the 4 occupants of the jeep (a male & female) died on the spot while two others who suffered serious injuries were taken to Federal Medical Centre in Idi Aba Abeokuta.
The bodies of the deceased had been taken to Ijaye General Hospital mortuary.
TRACE (Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps) spokesman, Babatunde Akinbiyi who confirmed the incident blamed it on over-speeding.
