Statistics shows that about 1.4 million Nigerian students sit for JAMB UTMEannually, but it sad that only about 20 percentage of these students do able to gain admission due to failure in JAMB UTME, post UTME amongst others. Even those that made it in both JAMB and POST UTME, fail to secure university admission due to limited admittance space, and so on. These menaces leave numberless Nigerian youths at home, thereby delaying their pursuant desire for tertiary education. To curb this incessant problem, government of Nigeria introduced Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB), a body that conducts and moderatesIJMBE Advanced Level Examinations with her aim to enable students who partake in the examination gain admission

IJMB Short Duration
IJMB short time duration saves lot of money and time for both parents/guardian and students as it run for just nine (9) months unlike other equivalent ND program which run for approximately two (2) years or NCE program that run for approximately three (3) years which in the end gain you admission into the same 200level. But with IJMB, gaining direct entry admission is fast, safe and very convenient where parent parent/guardian don’t have to spend much money as it is for just a period of nine months and the students on the other hand won’t have to wait too long before gaining admission into the university.

IJMB PROGRAMME
The Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) was set up in 1974, under statute 5 of the Ahmadu Bello University Law, to run the Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examination (IJMBE) as an alternative ‘A’ Level Examination, to students or candidates who may wish to seek undergraduate admission into Ahmadu Bello University andother universities. The programme was envisaged as a stop-gap or bridge after Secondary School Education, to prepare candidates academically, mentally and socially for the challenges of University Education.Continue reading…
HOSTEL ACCOMMODATION
Our hostel facility is located within the conducive study evironment which accommodates three bed space per hall in both the female and male hostel facility with a backup generator thats powers the whole facility and also a steady water supply.
Boarding students or other students who wish to have a bed space in the hostel facility are to pay the sum of N25,000 for a bed space in both male and female hostel accommodation, in which the hostel charges cover the whole period of the programme.

The primary aim of candidates enrolling forIJMBE Programme is secure admission into their various universities and course of choice at the end of the Programme, that is why IJMB-Ilorinhas made it her goal that virtually all candidates that enrolled for the Programmesecures admission into 200 level of their desired university and course of study.
We tend to archieve this goal by initiating the support and guidance programme which guides the candidates on how to go about seeking admission into various universities
